Overview
As UX Lead at Globant, I led a UX/UI team supporting Respawn Entertainment on Apex Legends, one of the world's most successful live-service battle royale games.
My work combined hands-on UX design for new features and game modes with leadership responsibilities, including quality oversight, mentoring, peer reviews, and collaboration across design disciplines to ensure a consistent player experience throughout multiple seasonal releases.
Responsibilities
Individual Contribution:
- End-to-end UX design for gameplay features, progression systems, and game modes.
- Creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and UI specifications.
- Collaboration with Game Design, Engineering, UI Art, and Production teams.
- Definition of UX solutions for both new and existing player experiences.
Leadership:
- Led and mentored a team of UX/UI designers.
- Conducted design reviews and quality assurance for deliverables.
- Facilitated feedback sessions and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Supported seasonal content development and live-service updates.
Leadership & Team Impact
Beyond feature ownership, I played a key role in maintaining design quality and team effectiveness throughout ongoing live-service development for the Globant UX/UI Team.
My contributions included:
- Coaching and mentoring UX/UI designers.

- Reviewing meta-related feature adjustments.
